its actually a candy container, just drilled a hole in the bottom .. just need 2 10x1.5 nuts, put the first nut down, take the top of the mushroom off and secure the base with the second nut ... since its hollow i would suggest putting something inside like clay, then put the top of the mushroom on .... the candy container i actually found at bed bath and beyond, and best buy actually started selling them by the check out lanes

Speaking of scratches... I've got a chrome shift knob that's getting some scratches on it. Any recommendations on how to buff out the scratches?

I really like the DC2 one but having slight problems with it not aligning properly on my Buddyclub short shifter so currently have the Spoon one on

Nope. You'd just cross-thread the thing because of mismatched thread pitch.
