Power/Fuse for Dome Light, 2011 Fit Sport
Power/Fuse for Dome Light, 2011 Fit Sport
My wife has purchased a set of door sill plates for front and rear doors. They say 'FIT' in blue lights when 12v DC is present.
I don't want these to be on all the time, only when opening the doors. I know the interior dome light stays on for a short time when the door is closed, but this is not an issue for me.
I am trying to determine where I can pick up 12v DC that will only he 'hot' when the doors are open (or for a short while after they are closed) .
I can daisy-chain the four lights together, leaving only one wire to be connected to a power supply.
My first guess is trying to find the power wire for the dome light. If anyone has another suggestion, please let me know.
If anyone knows which fuse powers this light, please let me know.
Thanks....

Near the fuse box, there is a pigtail with only a pink and a blue wire... those are for the dome lights. One is always on +12VDC, and the other is a controlled ground that fades after the door closes... that seems like that's what you're looking for.
