Big throttle body

Has anyone managed to put a bigger throttle body on a ge6 or ge8 what isn't the spoon body as I'm not spending all that money for a small gain

Was just thinking this today.. uBump for interest.

Does a new TB immediately allow more air at WOT or tuning is required to use the new hardware?

You'd ideally want a remap but if you reset the ecu it would learn to draw more air, wouldn't be as good as it would with tb and remap but just a bigger tb would help
