Hi.

My girlfriend 2012 Fit starter make the typical noise of the starter no coming back home fast enough when disengage.

It only making the kind of high pitch sound when the engine is cold, when the engine is warm, everything is back to normal.

I believe that on some car it possible to do a good clean and lube and that will solve the problem but on some other it not possible (like VW Bosh starter).

Anyone of you experienced the situation and ware able to solve it whiout replacing the starter ? Or am I better just to replace the complete starter.
