Front windshield wiper issue
Hi all,
160K on my 2011 base model Fit. Yesterday, I put on my wipers on intermittent mode and they just ran and ran and ran like it was on regular mode. Eventually it stopped and went to intermittent mode and after a few wipes it just ran and ran and ran again. Then I noticed that if I activated the "mist" mode (pushing UP on the lever) the wipers just ran and ran and ran until eventually stopping. Then, I went to shut wipers off and they would not stop running. Occasionally, the wipers would stop in mid-sweep once I turned them off.
Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

I'll take a gander at the service manual when I get home today and see what I can dig up. My thought is relay problem, but I'll go looking.
EDIT: So if I'm a betting man based off what the manual says more than likely it's grounding but I'll PM you all the diagnostic steps the manual suggests to take.
