I have a Japanese imported car with 88k km , mileage is confirmed, car not clocked, i have all the maintenance papers from japan, every year it was serviced properly, car is working perfectly but the steering wheel is a bit stiff, not too bad but noticeable

I have a 2009 fit as well and its much easier to turn the steering wheel.

Its kinda annoying at parking speed, once i drive like 40km/h its ok

I dont think anything is faulty in the car, but is there any way to adjust it?

 

Sounds like your power steering pump has failed causing an increase in effort to steer while traveling at low speeds.

 

That is the most likely outcome.. There is also a guide adjustment that can sometimes cause that but it's very rare unless someone has fiddled with the setting. Have power steering checked first ..
