No clamp on air filter housing/hose connection?

Hey everyone,

Bought a used 2013 fit recently and just changed the air filter. I noticed there is no hose clamp where the hose connects to the filter housing. Just want to check if that's right or if it's missing. Thanks.

That's normal, it's so you can hinge the housing out of the way more to get at filter.

Thanks. Yeah, the ease of the operation was not lost on me. Just seems like kind of a loose connection that could lead to some dust seeping in and defeating the purpose of the filter. I'm probably over thinking it.
