How long will it last

Hi,
i have a 2010 Honda fit automatic with 105k miles on it that has received all maintenance since purchased new. Do you think it can last 500k miles on the original engine and transmission? What kind of repairs will be necessary to get me to my goal?

Thank you,
Chris

Like any mechanical device, there is wear associated with the use of it. Keep on top of your ATF changes and pay attention to metal shavings when you drain the fluid. Given the number of automatic Fits out there, spare transmissions should be plentiful (wrecking yards / pick and pulls).

I put tons of work into my 09 Fit. So much so that I ran out of things to do with it!
Good car. Should last me until I go electric (Tesla) or don't need a car anymore.

@Csummers24: It's already lasted longer than my first two marriages. I'd say you're doing good.
