Just got my car back. 1400 out the door, with a 2 year warranty for the AC components. All oem Honda new. Pretty freaking happy. Thought it was gonna be way worse.

Search OfferUp and Facebook marketplace for used parts . People part these guys out all the time. You can probably get the entire AC system for a couple hundred bucks from a guy on there. OEM parts off a wrecked vehicle.

AC fix $

Mine is one owner, black 09 autosport 120k. AC had to be replaced by honda due to a bad AC clutch of some sort.
AC is evidently a common problem with the 2nd gen.
Cost shy of $1000 for Honda to fix. According to them, evidently replacing JUST the clutch is more difficult and expensive than just doing a whole new AC. Quoted over $1200.
Now blows like a champ.

What do you mean with whole new AC? I would assume they replaced just the compressor with the clutch. Not condenser, evaporator, dryer and lines.
