I'll be gladly taking any suggestions for what to do with my 2009 Honda Fit Sport windshield cowling cover. It appears that the last people who replaced the windshield used black scotchweld to stick the front cowling down instead of fixing/replacing the clips. Seems like a shoddy decision, but I'll have to take care of it now like all used cars. I discovered this while doing the 105k spark plug replacement maintenance evolution. There are a few clips left over on the cowling, but most would all need to be replaced. I'm guessing a good ol' hack and scrape job of removing the adhesive and hitting up the dealer for the replacement clips seems like the proper move, while the quick and dirty job would be slopping some more adhesive on top of the old stuff and hopes it sticks. I also need to replace one of the 10mm bolts for the internal metal cover, but I think that'll just be an advance autoparts run. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.
