There’s a really bad rattling sound coming from the passenger side dash/glovebox when the a/c is running. Just recently started happening. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
its a 2009 Honda Fit Sport.

Either the blower motor is going out or an object is stuck in there...

 

Glovebox is super easy to remove, pinch and lower down. Likely culprit is blower motor. you'll be back by the cabin filter and can check that for buildup/obstruction as well as the shutter that opens and closes based on if you selected to draw air from inside or out. Can check out its pulley and cables for damage or disconnection.

 

Check your freeon level if it’s whining like a kicked dog you prolly need some.

 

from time to time I end up with acorns in the top of the blower. This causes noise and vibration. It stops when I remove them.

 

I was having AC problems in the summer but it went away
