Manual transmission not finding center

I did some searching and couldn't find either thread.

The stick on my 2013 (79k km) is not centering when I bring it to the neutral position (sticks either left or right of center and I have to nudge it over) . I had the console apart and lubed the cable and shift mechanism but it's not really any better. Is there a thread someone can point me towards here or any advice? Would dirty (manual) transmission oil cause this?

Thanks!

When you park it, do you leave it in gear? Maybe first gear?
I may be mistaken but I understand the stick to be centered by springs that can be worn out. said springs may be purchasable at a dealership, or if you have some money to spare you could upgrade to a short shifter.
Changing transmission fluid fully every 30k miles is a good idea also, or so I'm told

I think you guys are right about centering springs, I don't see an individual part for the spring though, there's a shifter assembly part 54100-TF0-013. I don't know if Acuity or anyone makes aftermarket springs
