Wonky wipers

Just recently my 2010 Fit front wipers started turning on and running a few swipes when I turn the key, Occasionally if I switch to momentary they keep going longer than they should. Any ideas folks?

Hello,

Maybe this diagram can help you out.
It looks like your key provides power to the washer(Fuse 21) and front wiper motor(Fuse 56).
I would be looking for an intermittent short to ground from you wiper/washer selector switch; Maybe a loose or dirty contact?
Best of Luck!

I have a similar problem, they dont always stop when I turn them off, will go to the right speed when I put them on "low" or "high" but intermittent could get me "intermittent" or "low" speeds, then they might keep going on low speed even once I've turned them completely off. I've been told that it is the relay and its in the dash and the dealership is the only one that can fix it - to the tune of >$300

So... I just live with mine... LoL
