Radiator longevity

Just wondering how long radiators tend to last? My '09 has 177k and original rad so wondering if it's something for a Spring project?

No need to replace unless it's leaking. Even if the car has an overheating issue, I'd suspect the thermostat or water pump first.

Actually, I have those sitting in the garage in case they are ever needed. Water pump looks dry but original - not sure about thermostat. May do them whenever I change out the coolant.

Coolant change is a good idea. Other stuff...I'd just wait till they are needed. Especially if you're replacing with aftermarket. The old OEM Honda stuff is probably better than new aftermarket.

Maybe - I tend to buy the "OEM" brand aftermarket like Denso, NTK, etc. The water pump is Aisin. May change the thermostat when I change the fluid since it's pretty simple.

Change the coolant fluid at least every 3 years. Use Honda (or a proper) coolant and distilled water. I'm pretty sure that that is the key to long radiator life.

I can't wait to see what comes out when I drain it. The transmission fluid is still brown after the second drain/fill.
