2010 Fit: AC only starts blowing air when I toggle the cabin circulation lever.

A few days ago my AC would not blow any air at all after turning the car on. Only once I toggled the cabin circulation lever below the AC and back window defroster buttons would it begin blowing as normal.

after a few days of this it now behaves the same way, except I have to turn the setting to max for it to blow just barely as hard as the 1st setting would normally blow. Its still cold. Any ideas? Thank you.

To clarify: the cabin circulation setting does not matter. All that matters is that once I move it left or right, it kicks on and begins blowing as usual.

You need to replace A/C control relay. You can buy it under $20 on EBay. And there are many Youtube videos showing how you replace it.

Search EBay on keywords: 2010 Honda Fit A/C Control Relay

if it only works on the high and the blower spin really slow like on low setting you need to replace the blower motor. It not that bad of a job. I replace it on our daughter’s Fit. I think there’s a YouTube video and the blower motor can be bought on the internet.
