I'm a new fit owner and I didn't know the spot model had fog lights when I purchased my fit. living in Vancouver where our seasonal fog is being replaced with seasonal forest fire smoke, I was wondering if it its possible to find a 2nd gen fit sport bumper and swap my base bumper with it, then wire in fog lights. Is it just bolt on or would I need to drill holes or get mounts?
I'm new to cars in general and was maybe thinking checking out junkyards or craigslist for part cars to source one.

You can get fog lights for the non-sport bumper. Part # 08V31-TK6-100

 

The Sport bumper bolts on with no issues. You can also buy dealer optional fog lights for your standard bumper as said above.

 

I don't think my base bumper has slots for those, hence why im looking for a sport bumper. However this is still good to know for when I need the fog lights if I make the swap.

I read elsewhere you still need the sport grille, are there other bumpers I can look for that fit onto the GE?

You have to cut the holes. There are markings on the backside of the bumper of where to cut. The part # I showed earlier are fog lights for the base model.
