Keyless Entry fob "auto" triggering fix

hi,

For those of us, whom have an ongoing problem with the fob locking/unlocking the car, with their fob in a pocket.

This is my solution

works well, if slightly U G L Y.

I didn't have anything to cut a nice hole in the leather.

Good lord.

Why not just use the factory key fob? Or did you just want the fold away flip out key that much that the lock/unlock situation was something you could live with?

I am assuming that this key fob is original JDM version, because it came with the car., & I am the first NZ owner. Because this key fob is the problem. The buttons are overly easy to press, without the solution shown.

Ah, I didn't know you were a kiwi. Us yanks get ones where the key doesn't flip but the buttons are recessed.
