We just installed a new ignition lock cylinder (thanks for the help). Now we have two keys, but would like a couple more. We taped the RFID chip to the steering column to save money, so we just need the keys cut not programmed. ALL of the kiosk key making units say they do not cut keys for a 09 Fit. Is there another Honda that uses a similar key without the RFID chip that these kiosks will cut?

 

If you are having trouble with the kiosks and your local hardware store does not have the manual style key grinder that someone can dust off and use, I would try a locksmith.

FWIW, I would not opt to circumvent the immobilizer. People criticize late model Hyundais for being so easy to steal but those were just the base models without the immobilizer.
