Clutch kit recomendations

I'm not planning to change this out on my own but I'd like to know what parts might be best for an installer to install for me.

2010 5sp MT Fit Base.

140k+ miles. The clutch chatters a bit more than a little. Time to look at replacing the clutch before it just dies. What parts should I replace? Clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, .....what else?
What brands would you use? I daily drive this rusted monster and mechanically it's great. I do have a utility trailer that I tow on occasion but I don't jack rabbit off the line so......

OEM Honda parts would be my recommendation for best overall performance and longevity.

OEM, Exedy, or Luk should all be fine. Yes replace clutch, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing.

Wow.. Just checked prices the Exedy used to cost like 90-110 for the set.. now its almost 200. Yikes!

i used exedy (clutch) and luk (flywheel). you could run just luk stuff if you want to save a few bucks ~ although oem is pretty fancy I felt it too unforgiving for my half-loyal legs. Oem runs a spring within a spring setup. exedy/luk do not. the pairing also cut some weight. think it was almost a # for the flywheel. dont recall the clutch. maybe negligible.

Id recommend at least an OEM bearing. they use ntn brand bearings, and based on the spec sheets, they outclass even timken by a few k rpms. ditch the one that comes with the kit.. or run it if yuh dont care itd prolly work fine. I ran timken out of ignorance, and it sure seems okay 30k later.

For my next suggestion.. consider a bicycle wheel balancer from amazon to balance your clutch and flywheel together. i read it works! and the local machine shop said they didnt have a small enough arbor to do it for me.. I think getting them balanced -if possible- would be worth it for the smooths. but i couldnt get mine balanced and it seems just fine. I just have to wonder if it could be better though!

OEM parts all day. Well worth the extra cash from the start. Do not go with aftermarket stuff or be prepared to be chasing issues or problems.

Exedy is fine, they actually manufacture most Honda OEM clutches. But no matter what you do buy an oem Honda release bearing and pilot bearing you will thank yourself. A good machine shop should be able to machine the flywheel so you can keep the oem one if you wanted, it’s always good practice to machine or replace the flywheel.
