Is this code cursed? Will anything work??
Hey everyone, my car is going in and out of code P0139 - Oxygen sensor slow bank downstream.
I changed both O2 sensors (upstream and downstream)
Installed New Spark plugs
Replaced the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve
Cleaned the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
The code started going back on. So about 2 weeks ago I changed the downstream BOSCH 18035 sensor again! I returned the first one. For about 3 days the code stayed off and I was pumped. But then it started going on and off, and now it stays mostly on.
Do i need an OE sensor from Honda? Or a different brand?
I am at a loss what else to try. It's 2012 and has about 46k miles on it.
Any tips or tricks are appreciated!!
Thanks

All I could say is that I had bad experiences with Bosch sensors on Hondas.
I would suggest that you use NTK or Denso sensors (I think they are OE).
You can find them cheap on Rock Auto (well, at least cheaper than the dealer probably). It's also easy to find a 5 % discount code on the Internet for Rock Auto.
