Heater core bypass - general coolant flow questions!
Hi guys,
Sorry I wouldn't usually reach out to strangers for help, but i'm stuck!
I'm working on a L15A7 + Turbo swap into a 1984 Honda City race car i've been building. I have no need for a heater core, nor the cooling to the TB as i'm using a Bosch unit.
I went ahead and capped off the ports which are marked with purple:
However, a fellow Honda friend with a heater delete on his K24 told me he thinks I can't simply just delete the port off the back of the head as it's essential for allowing coolant to circulate around the block?
My understanding of flow is something like this, but could be wrong:
Just finally, I still need to route some coolant lines to my turbo. I was thinking I could effectively steal the ports I blocked that were for the TB, like so. Any problems with this?
