Need help!!

Okay look I’m buying a 09 fit (sport) and I’ve seen pictures and videos of fits that are running diamond steelies… and I want to get a set eventually down the road… yeah I know they aren’t ideal but I like the look of them so lol. Anyways the car does have coilovers and I plan on lowering it quite a bit from stock hight.. so my biggest question here is what offset could I get away with? I’ve talked to a couple of people and they recommended getting wheels that is +40 or above… I don’t mind doing fender work and I know I’m going to run into that problem so I’m not worried but what offset can I get away with without cutting out the fender and doing flares? Lmao any input is appreciated!

When superstreet did their GE they ran what they considered to be the maximum offset they could get away with. I believe it was 15x6.5 wheels with a +38 offset. Think they only dropped it an inch though.

stock height, i'm running 16x7+35
