So the A/c system is fully charged ac compressor kicks on but…
•blows warm air but fully charged
•makes loud rattle sound

would removing the clutch washers help please help 🙏🏼

 

Replace the thing that is making the loud rattle. The compressor is probably toast even though it kicks on.

The AC clutch has a bushing that can wear out and rattle and the AC clutch is available as a stand alone part , if you take the clutch off its fairly obvious if its lost the bushing/bearing and or clutch plate.. It can also help to flip the thrust washer over so its running on fresh surface. I also cleaned mine while I had it apart worked fine for 3 years. (THen totaled RIP)
