Why does my engine chirp when idling

Occasionally, it doesn’t make the noise. When accelerating it seems to disappear or maybe it’s just getting drowned out any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try pulling out your oil dipstick while idling and see if it goes away

Probably a pulley.
