GP1 hybrid voltage drops
GP1 hybrid voltage drops
Ok so I have the 2011 Fit/Jazz hybrid GP1, roughly 100k km on the clock and recently got IMA failure. Cause: Broken cooler fan for the hybrid battery which resulted in a blown fuse. Common issue with this model apparently.
Fan replaced, 12v battery replaced. All good I would expect. But no... Now when it's hot outside my accessory voltage drops for short 7 sec intervals so when a lot of accessories are used, the voltage drops below 12v and battery warning light comes on on the dashboard.
Garage took all the covers off and checked if the ducts were connected. No issue there. Still the hybrid fan is quite noisy but I don't feel much if any airflow at the ducts. Can't judge if it's normal or not though.
Had anyone had a similar issue by any chance?
