Smile 2010 White Honda Fit Sport Build

Howdy! I'm happy to say that I'm new to the Honda Fit community but not new to cars. Over the years I have had my fair share of Hondas from N/A builds to boosted vehicles. After wanting a different daily driver and to get myself back into a Honda, I concluded that the Fit is the best daily driver. Over the next year, I plan to build this car into an even more enjoyable DD. Plans include touching up the interior and exterior. Giving the stereo system a facelift. Dropping it with coils and adding a rear sway bar. Finally, by the second half of next year, I would like to throw a snail on it or swap a K. But I'd like to continue researching what would be better suited for me and practical as a daily driver.

For the record, I was quite shocked at how peppy this little car is. Seeing how everyone said they are slow cars lowered my expectations and now I have a little more respect for the L15A7. But let me introduce you to my car (Nickname is still pending) Oh and I lucked out finding a 5MT!

Yes that is Mothman!

Welcome.

The Fit MT is a blast to drive. Wring its neck. You can't break it. At least, I haven't found a way to break mine.

That is what I keep hearing! This week I plan on installing Yellow 8th gen civic fog lamps. Red Badges. And getting its windows tinted.

Got some new goodies in the mail today. The emblems and fogs will be installed this weekend along with tinted windows. I also got a quote from a local Honda garage to have them swap a K24A2 and a 06 Civic Si transmission in for my car. So now it looks like mid 2025 will be when I get the motor swapped!

No I believe I will have to fit them into the fit housing and may have to do some wire work. Seb's Garage has a great tutorial on how to get these bad boys in.
