Hi everyone, new to the forum and happy to be here!
I recently removed the cowl to perform some maintenance and noticed that the foam seals are in rough shape. Has anyone replaced theirs before? Are there alternatives to getting a replacement from the dealer, such as using foam tape or another material?
Grab some soft, single-sided adhesive foam strip from the hardware store. Comes in a long roll. Cut to fit. I used 3M brand, but I'm sure anything will work.

That's kind of what I was thinking of doing. I had in mind that foam weather stripping. I will have to hit up my hardware store in my next day off. I don't have any Ace hardware stores where I am here in Canada, but I'm sure Home Depot, Canadian Tire, or Home Hardware should have this. Thx!
Now on to finding a source for those blue cowling clips that you need to take out a loan to get from the dealer. I should be able to pick these up on Amazon or Ali Express for alot cheaper.
