Question 2009 Fit Clutch

My 2009 Honda Fit Sport manual clutch is having problems. When I press the clutch pedal all the way to the floor it doesn’t disengage the clutch all of the way. It does not feel like it slips at all when in gear. I checked the master cylinder and the fluid looked a little low but not below the bottom mark. I added some new brake fluid to it and drove around the block but it didn’t change much. The next day it looked a little low again. I hope it is something like the master cylinder or a leak that I can fix for under $100 and not the clutch itself which I might have to pay someone to fix for $1300. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

These guys had the same problem and fixed it with a quick bleed. I had similar issues and when I bled my line I found a lot of gunk. Felt much better after. Hope it helps.

I agree with @GrE8_Fit .

First, visually inspect for leaks. Inspect the engine bay and the driver's side footwell inside the car.

Second, you could bleed the system. But this will not fix the problem if you indeed have a leak, obviously.

Let us know how it goes.

Good luck.
