Hope you are well. Considering upgrading the exhaust. Have searched some for posts regarding with no luck. Can someone please point me to them, if they exist?

3/20/2025 update: Better plan might be to just put on a Header with integrated Cat:

^Get 5-8 WHP with not as much noise penality.

My tentative plan:
1) install Magna Flow High Flow Cat 2.5"
monitor for Check Engine Light, Make it go off. Nuclear Option: put stock back on
Measure performance increase?
2) install Vibrant Resonator 2.5"
3) install Tanabe Medallion Axle Back exhaust
monitor for Check Engine Light Make it go off. Nuclear Option: put stock back on
Might be a good stopping point depending on perfomance increase (say sub 9 sec, 5-60 MPH?)
If continue:
4) Magna flow Header with high flow cat (~$1k)

x) Vtuner - but illegal for street use?

Can you please offer info., guidance, informed opinion, help?

PS: HPS Short ram, 8310 spark plugs.

 

Leave the cat stock, add tanabe touring medallion, call it a day.

the other stuff is just going to make it loud and/or stinky
