Blower resistor left screw!?
Blower resistor left screw!?
My 2012 Jazz Hybrid has the blower resistor mounted horizontal (not vertical as shown on various videos) and although I can access the right-hand Philips screw, the left one seems to be totally inaccessible!
Various video clips show using an angled Phillips or a stubby, both of which I've tried, but I cannot for the life of me get up in there with any of my Phillips and turn it. There is a black box very very close to the left of it (duct mechanism?) and the plastic pieces on the underside of the dash seem to interfere with my stubby Phillips screwing out. Any help on this? My new resistor arrived today but I can't get the old one out! Thanks.

Hi Frenzal, thanks for your reply. The problem is that there's not enough space in there for the head of a ratchet to fit and if I use an extender it won't come in at the right angle for that screw. tomorrow I'll try and get a picture of this to post.
