Heater/AC blower fan only works on high‎

I am having trouble figuring this one out. I find info about other vehicles but nothing on 09 Fit.

The blower will not work on any setting but the highest. Heat and AC both still work but I have to set the fan to full blast. The AC compressor still comes on with the fan setting in positions other than high.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Probably the blower motor transistor, I remember replacing dozens of these on accords & odysseys.

Excessive current draw from the HVAC blower motor
causes the blower resistor to fail.
Replace the HVAC blower motor and the blower
resistor to fix this problem

The reason is likely the motor control module failure due to excessive heat (older Honda's had them partially installed in the air intake plenum to cool the thermistor). Excessive heat is caused by not replacing the cabin air filter often enough resulting in lower air flowrates that leads to the thermistor overheating - thus failing.
