Steering wheel cover?

2009 Sport 5MT, original leather on steering wheel is scuffed and worn. I've searched the forum and found some posts here and there but nothing conclusive. Posing the question, for those of you who have done the stitched cover replacement...Have you found any OEM style (part perforated, part solid leather), which went on well and look OEM when done? Debating on dropping several hundred on a new OEM steering wheel but would rather not. Any advice or pics would be great!

Here's my worn OEM...

There's one that people on this forum have had good success with. And it's customizable, so, you could probably make a near OEM replica.

I saw this on another forum. The poster mentioned it took him four hours to complete and went off instructions from a YT video. I'm guessing he watched a ChrisFix video. He linked this page for sourcing the leather. I gotta say it looks really close to the OEM leather.
