duct and evaporator cleaning?
duct and evaporator cleaning?
Wanting to get rid of an odor, I ran a foaming AC cleaner through my evaporator, following what they guy did in this video -
. But now it smelled like solvent, even after thorough ventilation. After a couple of days it didn't go away so I did some thinking and some googling, realized I used the wrong cleaner, and accidentally grabbed the one that supposed to go through the refrigerant line, not the duct work. So I grabbed the right kind of cleaner and used that, but the solvent smell didn't go away... What do I do here? Do I need to replace the whole evaporator core?
that's a great idea thank you! Currently getting the run-around with service agents who don't understand my question lol, but hopefully they'll get me to someone who can help. If I don't hear back from them, I think I'll probably just call local shops and ask their advice
