Help with evap code
So, started with a gas cap warning so I replaced it. Didn't fix the problem. I just smoke tested the system. Smoke was coming out of what I think are vents. One is located beneath the brake master cylinder and one is further down about 12" from the charcoal canister. I plugged both up and still found no leaks.
What would you do at this point? Could it be the cheap gas cap I bought off amazon is the problem? The original that was on there before didn't show signs of wear because I know that rubber gasket can go bad so I figured for 15$ just replace it. I know there are 2 valves one is next to the throttle body and the other is on the charcoal canister. One is 80$ the other is a LOT more.
TYIA for any insight.
