Front wheel stud replacement hack job.

Snapped a wheel stud and didn't have access to a press so I decided to repair it the hack way.
Used a ball joint tool to press out the old stud. Had to use a hacksaw to cut off the base of the old stud to even have enough clearance to get it out. Used a sanding drum to grind away at the spindle and also ground off some of base of the stud while avoiding the splines to get everything to fit. Messed up some of the threads on the new stud getting it back in but luckily it was low enough on the threads that it didn't matter. Used the ball joint tool to press it back in. Hack job but it worked.

If I had to do it again, I would have bought an angle grinder to make quick work of the spindle. Using the sanding drum took forever. Might be worth it to take a trip to the local junkyard to just swap out the full assembly if you don't want to deal with any of it.

Nice job! Now you need to swap out the whole knuckle.

Keep an eye on it I guess. Check that the knuckle hasn't cracked every time you check the brakes.

Yeah I've spoken to enough people that have done it without any issue that I'm not concerned about it but I'll keep an eye on them. I removed much less material than some of the photos I've seen. I wish Honda would have just included a notch where you can press a stud in and out but have to make that service money I guess. If I ever have to replace the hub or bearing, I'll hit up the salvage yard and get a whole assembly to replace. Until then this hack job will have to do.
