What head Unit do you currently have one your fit? Stock? or newer?

Do it have FM/AM radio?

I found out recently that a lot of new headunits with Android auto/Car play doesn't have AM radio LOL

 

I'm keeping the stock stereo. It has AM, FM and CD. I don't like screens. I don't use Nav or any of the newer stuff that shows up on screens.

 

I have a Sony XAVAX1000.

I wanted carplay and a volume knob. This does the job well in the few years I have had it.

 

Back in 2022 I got a Kenwood DMX8019DABS (European model, I think it's already discontinued). Per the specs has AM radio, although I think I haven't tried it

 

I had gotten this one for my parents fit as an upgrade. but due to it not having FM radio and no good alternative that doesn't use internet. it's now sitting in the box. LOL.

it's great and very quick too. just too bad it didn't have AM radio capabilities. Although i know it's a dying frequency from what i've read

 

Doesn't it? It says 'FM/RDS' in the specs... 🕵
