Does blown out spark plug occur in 2013 honda fit's or is it limited to earlier years

 

Yes 2013 plugs can bow out. I have a 2012 with 162k , one plug replacement at 110k and no blowout’s.

 

Torque spec wasn't updated to the range of 17 to 20 lb ft until around the 2015MY for single cam L series Hondas in general.

So all GDs and GEs are under effect. Even 2011 to 2015 CR-Zs as well since they have the same head as the GE8.
