Friend of mine went to a dealership over the weekend to buy an '08, all they had left was 2 base MT's, so she put money down on an '09 with a VIN, supposed to be here in ~2 weeks.

stopped by my dealer... none... also checked the local places car haulers park when waiting last night, none...

 

Im noticing in the past few days, on several car news websites, that the official release date for Canada is now Sept 15th.

So that could give you an idea.

 

It's like we've got a fitfreak spy network. COOL!

 

I dont think they will be arriving around here today, i called my dealership last night regarding when they will be getting there shipments in and he said at the earliest later this week. He will be calling me right when they unload the first 2009 Fit off the truck. Ill have a cam, for pics and vids in hand.

On my way to best buy here in florida, there is a honda dealer right near by (courtesy honda, sanford FL) I will give you guys an update as soon as i get back!

 

we still have none at my dealership... Did honda say the release daye was getting moved up because there is NOTHING on the Honda news site that says anything about it.

 

I just checked my voicemail and I had a message saying that "my" Fit had arrived on the lot (Honda of Clear Lake).

I guess it's not going to be "my" Fit anymore when I tell them I'm not paying $1000 over MSRP...
