where's the spare?

Congrats on your 09! I'm still waiting for my 09 Fit in MR, AT. I heard that the 09 Sport does NOT come with a spare tire due to the added weight increasing the miles per gallon. Does yours have a spare tire and, if so, where is it located? Thanks again for posting the nice pix!

the 09 does have a spare tire, seen it myself. It's the law that all cars must have a spare tire.

to the OP, can u take some more pix of the door panels? like some backed up shots? i don't see the cup holders in the doors.

Ya it does, except here in Canada all AT models come with a tire repair kit only. I don't know the reasoning, but I think that's why the Canadian AT has better gas mileage than the MT (less weight?)

The USB connection for MP3/USB media devices is awesome! When I bought a radio for my 08, that's the one feature I wanted. Well worth it!

I have to agree. That thing looks dirty if I even look at it wrong, much less touch it. It is the only thing I dislike about my wonderful new Fit

I like how the gauges lights up with a blue glow around the center. The Civic SI has the glow as well but it's sticker not from light.

Civic with it's red glow sticker:

No spare tire is not the law. My 06 Miata didn't have it, it has a repair kit and the Mazda RX8 doesn't have a spare either.

What is that at the top right? Is that a miniature black hole from the Large Haldron Collider?

Wow, that's a lot of dead space to the right of the 12V jack ... on the navi units that's where the 3.5mm Aux input is (better there than on face of the dash IMO). Is there room behind that panel to cut in a small pocket? Would be a good place for a phone, especially while charging.

Would also be an ideal spot for a 110 volt AC outlet if a small inverter could be tucked behind there.

if you look at the arm rest spot, those two rectangular holes are great for cell phones, and my charger reaches to them.
