My 09 SilverSport Fit bought today 9/10 Pic heavy

I have been a fellow 8th civicer for a while now. But I sold my 07 NHBP SI for an 2005 s2000 Black. That was back in March of 2008. I love honda and I love the new look of the fit and its interior styling.

I finally picked up one at my local dealership, for Retail. Its Silver, Sport AT with paddle shifters. (never used them but make it fun to drive)

If anyone is interested in photos or anything I can answer for my fellow Honda crew I would be happy to help in anyones decision of the Fit.

So the breakdown of cost for me is as follows: For the record I am 24, Single and Own an s2000 which I owe $10k on.

05 Fit Sport AUTO trans: $17,580

I had a $500 93 jimmy I traded in. So take $500 off if your me

Taxes and dealer fee with plate transfer OTD Total : $18,848.60

Finance

I did it through a local Credit Union. I was pre-approved at 3.5%. Again I have good credit. I did not have to put anything down on the Car. But I put $1,500.00

Insurance

My origional quote for full coverage with 500 ded comp and coll was 560. But add in a yellow light I "RAN" in my SI days, and the Speeding ticket I got again in my SI going 99 in a 75. Damn that Si killing my Insurance these days.

New total was $830 From progressive, Geico was slightly higher. and so was farmers

Ohh and when I test drove it the first time. 4 days prior to when I bought it I asked the sales person in the car. "where are the floor mats" she said "oh there inside". But apparently the Fit does not come with Floor mats from stock you have to buy them extra. So an hour later after I took delivery, I noticed there was no floor mats, went back to the dealer and they are giving me floor mats for free now since they told me they had them inside. So I said sweet

HERES THE PHOTOS FINALLY AFTER I HAD TO RESIZE THEM ALL!!! DUE TO MY ISP UPLOAD CAP

USB / IPOD Glove box. I use a 4gb usb drive since i can scroll thru that on the deck and not the ipod

The usb indicator on the deck letting you know whats connected

I am not one for cupholders but this damn cup holder is the best spot ever

Not sure about the manual. Every door has a cup holder, the two for pass and driver. and two in the back of the armrest for the rear.

That makes a grand total of 10 cupholders. When I go on a trip i am going to make sure to put a soda in every cupholder for my trip

man! your deal was great! not in the sense that you got the fit for some crazy good price or avoided mark up(even though you did, but thats not what i'm reffering to), but the fact that you played your cards right, got good financing, and then put some down PLUS a trade in.

that my friend is car buying done RIGHT!

now i wish i could do it.

congrats on the car, and the pics are cool!

i LOVE the way the new gauges look! very classy! the fabric on the seats seems to be superior and less lint-enticing!

I used to live there. I don't understand how they can possibly be so horrendous, but after reading this Ask Autoblog: How are Michigan roads made? - Autoblog

it starts to make sense.

Hey those are some nice pics. You should work for Honda since their photographers suck. You actually give an idea of what's going on!

I do forsee one mod soon. The door panel "carpet or whatever it is" being replaced with a nice fabric or a leather. Thinking about going blue or a nice black leather

I still have it. I am planning on moving this coming winter. So as of now. Some one that a person at the dealership knew is interested. So there coming to look at it on friday.

It has 37k, honda care till 2011 or 100,000 and in great shape selling for 20k. So if they buy it great, if not I have an s2000 in the garage.
