Hey all - Are there any 2009 Blackberry Pearl's out there yet?

Is that the last color in the pipeline?

If they are out/available now, pictures please.

Mine gets ordered tomorrow. So in about 2 months, one will be here.

 

I saw one on the road yesterday here in Houston. So I guess they are out, but no one has posted pics yet. The one I saw had the sticker still in the window. I don't think it was a test drive b/c there was only one guy in it, but who knows.

 

I took delivery of a new blackberry pearl Sport MT from Kendall Honda in Eugene, Oregon on Friday. No pix yet. In the shade it looks dark blue; in the sun, purple with some turquoise flakes. Interesting!

 

Easily mistaken for NHBP in the dark too... lol... It trips people out when you see a BBP driving through the dark because it sometimes turns purple in yellow light.

 

When I was thinking of 2008 Fit, I really wanted the Blackberry Pearl, it is so unique. But the dealer we put the deposit on the 2009 Fit had a white and a silver, we selected the white. This dealer doesn't charge any doc fee or prep fee etc, plus my hubby pointed out that white stays cooler at the hot summer and it would be for our doggies when they are inside.

Now I got the white fit, it is so awesome, I really like it.

 

Is the color the same as yours? Just curious.

It looked the same, but I was too far away to be certain. I could tell it was not black, so I knew it was a BBP. The color was not wildly different, I can tell you that. And Honda wouldn't give us a new color mixture with the same name, would they??

What with the hurricane and all, I haven't been able to get to a dealer to see if there are any...I might call my sales guy tomorrow since I have some touch up paint waiting for me. If I find one I'll take photos - I think it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow.

The color in your post looks right to me. This is probably not a color someone should buy without seeing it in person. I wouldn't buy something like an Audi A8 in this color, but I think with an interesting looking little car one should have some fun.

 

Exactly. This color suits the car, I think, as does the orange, especially the new orange. All the other colors are "normal," or more normal. To me, getting a fun little car like the fit in an unusual color was the perfect icing on the cake.

 

and can we see photos of your Fit??? Please.

 

I don't have pictures...I don't have a Fit yet! I have a civic. I put down a deposit to order one though...I'm pretty excited. The Civic is nice, but its god-awful boring to drive!

 

Oh well then! What color did you order and when will it arrive, or do you know? Base or Sport?

My sales guy kept asking me if I might not want to "move up" to a Civic when he couldn't find me an '08 Fit...I told him that's not a move up to me!!
