I can get you one for "not one penny" over MSRP.

Are you a costco member? Try going through their autobuying program.

A costco member ship costs about $50 (less if the company you work for offers a corporate discount).

no deals from costco...they refer you to hondaworld

Thank you for your reply, I apologize I have been out of the office since Monday. The Fit is actually excluded from the program due to low supply. It it is a premium vehicle however, and we do have more incoming shortly. I will contact you when they arrive. Have a great day and I look forward to speaking with you.

Thanks again,

What's "HondaWorld"?
Costco referred me to Scott Robinson here in Torrance. I'm in the process of buying a Fit so I can't comment on the pricing/inclusion yet.

I'm going to talk to the dealer after work tomorrow. The rep from the dealer did not tell me weather or not the Fit was included just that the costco prices could not be told over the phone.

See what Scott Robinson on Hawthorne Blvd will offer you...

Then see what JDMchris and I can do for you...

Hopefully one of the above will get the deal for ya...

honda world is a dealership. My dealership owns that store as well. Anywho... "cant tell you price over the phone" is total BS... thats a flag right there.

I hope I can beat/match some of the otd prices members have posted in the OTD Price post. No telling until I get there though.

Like you mentioned the Fits are in demand too. I doubt they will have a manual sport with nav. in blue or purple.

I'm already preapproved through my bank and will probably put over 50% down. So I'm good to go.

Edit: Yeah them not being able to tell me the price over the phone wreaks of bs. No big deal. I would rather deal in person.

c32andy...

yeah it sucks when they offer you MSRP and throw in free lojack (since that is at least a $499 item)- but hey- doesn't mean anything- when they
dont have the color and equipment you want.

but that is a nice throw-in

Went to the dealer today.
The rep was pretty straight fwd and let me take a glance at the list. Every car had a ± number next to their respective msrp.
All except for some of the newer models. Including the fit. So no costco price has been set for them yet. That pretty much meant that the price is open for negotiation. No Biggie.

They did not have a Fit in the color/trim that I wanted so there really was not much else to do.

I test drove a base/manual model just for the hell of it.

They also had a purple sport/auto and a silver base/auto.

<--- Looking for a Fit Sport with the Navi/VSA package and a manual transmission. In either Purple, Blue Sensation Pearl, or Black.

Ben...

Sorry you didn't find a deal there.

But I did tell you the 2009 Honda Fit was not included on the list- but you still went.

Of course I would still like to make money saving you money- but nice advice warning you that there were no costco pricing on this car- and you still went down there- if I were you I would of called them back or emailed them saying- I will not go down unless they tell me a price and if they say No- pick another dealer.

No worries and thanks for your advice. The dealer is literally less than five minutes out of the way for me so I didn't have to go too far out of my way. And I got a spiffy brochure. lol

The difficult part for me is not finding the "Deal" its the car in the trim I want.

Glad to hear it.

Yeah only reason I had clients interested in the 2009 Honda Fits months ago and when they told me- they did inquire about Costco Pricing and
where advised to go to Honda World- but they only received an email saying- come on down to the dealership and we will let you know the price.

But when they asked me to intervene and hire me to search for them- I called the dealer and asked- then they said- oh yeah- no Costco Pricing on Honda Fits- now if I were the client and I drove maybe an hour down there- I would be pissed.
