Black or Blue
Black or Blue
Hi all,
Newbie to the forum.
I'm about to buy a 2009 Sport (no paddle shift in Canada for 2009, boo) this week.
Can't decide between the Crystal black or the Blue Pearl.
I don't want to be slave to the car in term of waxing every few months and hand washing etc...slap me!! However being a practical guy, what would hold up/look better in 5 years time after some rough canadian winter?
Thanks for the feedback.
Will post the photos when they come in.

5 years = Silver, which is why I got one. Had a Black Honda for 6 years and I did my best to keep it clean without being a slave. Wouldn't ever get black again unless I had a garage.
If you don't plan on washing (which I hope you change your mind) then don't get a dark color.

silver
I've owned silver and champagne colored cars. Now I own a Blackberry Pearl Fit. If you think I'm slamming silver you're wrong. You DO have to touch silver to tell it's dirty. With BBP it get dusty after an hour on the clearest of days. BBP=Love the color=hate the care Silver=easy care
It sounds like you've homed in on either black or blue, but if you want a color that doesn't show dirt and doesn't require constant attention (i.e., washing), silver's it. However, if you want a color that hides scratches, swirl marks, and other small imperfections, then white's the way to go (especially after 5 years). That said, if it's definitely between black and blue, I'd go with the blue.
Thanks guys and gals.
I think I will go for blue. As much as silver and white are easier, the compromise is to add a little color to life. Love the orange but I'll leave that to the younger folks. I already have a silver oddy and there are just too many silver on the road. I thought black will hide more scratches but obviously I'm wrong.
I will be slave to my car when the kids are away from home and the two seater comes in...til then, the kids will be learning to drive on an older Fit! Yes, I'm planning ahead.
Still too bad about no paddles.
