I think it's all about moot for me. The manual for the 2011 says use 0w-20. I can't find that in conventional oil.

I don't believe there are 0w weight dino juices... I may be wrong, but I've never found any. If it has a syn base, its still semi-syn.

Kudos to the new Mobil1 site. 0w20 is full synthetic and dont know if another version is coming out. Honda's Japan website leads me to believe there will be. Mobil1 got rid of the semi synthetic line.

If anybody tells you a particular car or truck is not designed for synthetic oil they are speaking from pure ignorance. Synthetic oil is just far superior to dino oil period. Anybody who tries to tell you different is speaking from pure ignorance ( not stupidity, just ignorance).

Agreed.
I, both tech and engineer, and Honda engineers all state that synthetic oils are the lube of choice because they can design the engine for lower friction losses as a result oif requirementsfor higher mpg. Its not that conventional oils won't lube but that they just don't do it nearly as well. Thats especially true if you use 10W-30 dyno oil. Besides, dozens of dyno runs here prove the point both in power and mpg as well as wear on internals.
