Decoding the VIN - vehicle features?

so i guess vin in the US is different here in japan? i have
型式　DBA-GE8
車体番号　GE8-1035952

TF08 7A2-NH624P -A -S

This is a 2009 July model Fit RS and I just got curious if this is really made in Japan because my Kawasaki bike is made in Thailand with Made in Japan engine. This is confusing!
