My Fit is scheduled to be built on Oct. 10th but I'm getting very impatient. I'm thinking about trying to find one at a different dealer.

Do you have to get warranty service at the specific dealer that the car was purchased? Could I buy a Fit at one dealer and have warranty service at another? I wouldn't mind driving 100 miles to buy a car but I definitely don't want to be doing that every time I need to have a little rattle taken care of by warranty.

Any advice would be appreciated.

 

warranties are issued by the manufacturer, in this case Honda. Any Honda service center will take care of any issues

yeah def. i bough my car like 100 miles away from the honda dealership that's in my town.. i almost bought one in the next state but they were crooks. if you find a car you want within a reasonable radius of your home then go for it.
