OK. Sort of copy-cat thead. What did you like about the 2nd generation Fit that SURPRISED you (that you weren't expecting)?
* Much better looking in real-life
* The USB interface to the stereo ROCKS!
* Surprising room for even 6-footers
* Paddle shifters an interesting novelty
* Easy-to-operate controls (stereo and HVAC)
* Flipping the seats up/down is super easy
* Very well "screwed together" -- nice tight body gaps, no squeaks/rattles
* Super quiet at idle
* Some good safety features: dual-stage air bags, occupancy sensors
* Remote/key has a nice, solid feel

Although many disagree, one of my favorite things about the new Fit is the OEM integrated touchscreen Nav w/ steering wheel mounted voice control and a VSC system you can turn on & off.
Also really like the bigger more supportive seats and overall increase in the feel of quality on the interior.

yaa that was a really bad story lol

Here are some. Probably more later...
1. Mileage is much better than I thought it was going to be. I thought my mileage was going to be closer to official spec. Even when I drive the car fairly hard I’m getting 33 mpg. I live in a rural area so there is very little city driving. Yesterday I got 38 mpg (actual not computer) on an all HWY trip averaging 10 mph over the limit and with an hour of stop and go traffic.
2. Handles much better than I expected. I have done some crazy turns and the car just sticks to the pavement. There is some body roll but way less than I expected.
3. More fun to drive than I expected. I thought it was going to be a high mileage vehicle that would not be very sporty. Boy was I wrong. I’m having a blast driving the car. Since we began a family I have not really owned a car that was fun to drive (We have a 4Runner and Odyssey). Before we moved to the "family" cars I had an 87 VW GTI 16v, 92 Civic Si, 96 Integra GSR, and 91 Audi 200 Turbo. Obviously I like to drive
While the Fit is not in the same class as above cars it is still very fun to drive. It has been a while since I have had a car that I make excuses to drive. I have missed driving for the sake of driving…
4. USB interface is better than expected. I have a 80gb portable hard drive hooked up to it. I still plan on replacing stereo and speakers and adding an amp but having the USB interface has made the wait less of an issue.
5. Very well built. I have owned several Honda, Toyota, and Acura cars and the build quality of the Fit ranks very near the top (or at the top). I was not expecting a car at this price point to be built like this.
6. More space than I anticipated. I can get the wife, kids (2), and dog in the car and it does not feel cramped. People that have checked out the car are always amazed when they get in it. It does not look like it could be that roomy inside.
7. Lots of storage space: two glove compartments, 10 cup holders, lots of space in front doors, the shelf in between glove compartments, and the storage under back seats. The storage with back seats down is fantastic as well.
