I tried to do a search because I think someone may have addressed this already. I got my vin today, and am just interested in knowing what some of those numbers in it stand for. I thought the build date and # on the line were somehow coded into it. Could someone please inform me?

I've been corresponding with the internet salesman all along, so I just shot him an email today. We should keep each other posted on the arrival date. It seems like we're probably in the same batch. He was still unable to give me an ETA on the car.

 

yeah, I need to get my salesman's email address. I've just been calling every 2 weeks or so. But I'm guessing our cars will come over on the same vessel.
