I would like to see an outside temperature through the Navi. I'm wondering if that is possible if we add a sensor. Same thing for Blue-tooth.
Does anybody have a pdf version of the Navi manual? I'm too lazy to pull out the paper copy and love teh ability to search PDFs by keyword.

I'm going to look at the splash screen hack now...

Hi. Newbie here. Just bought new Fit yesterday. I do software and first thing started looking for Map Hacks and whatnot. Do you mind telling me what is the advantage of making a HACK? Does it give updated maps or something? Thanks much!

I know I'm late on this one but you could have always hired a hacker/programmer at rentacoder.com

"I've personally discussed this issue with the top people at Honda. They are completely aware of our feelings on this issue. They are very clear that they made the decision to eliminate the trip computer functions because when people could see their MPG on demand it resulted in lower customer satisfaction ratings.
(So they fudge the "BSM" data instead? Do they think we can't do the math?)
Honda will not budge on the issue. Not a chance.
The Ridgeline has always been missing one component (a fuel meter) that would have been required to make the system fully functional, but that data (although not as accurate) is still available via OBDII data.
There have been several software updates to the navigation system since this thread was started. I can't say exactly what has happened, but it appears that Honda/Alpine has taken additional steps to make sure none of the features can be enabled.
I wish this issue had a different ending."

Also, there are some GPS features like speed and direction that are not available in the stock sytem that are evidently in some diagnostic modes.
If we can hack the bluetooth, and DVD playback, I'm in for the group buy as well...

I have some pics in car of the splash screen. But every time i upload them via imageshack i just get a red "x" so ill try to get them on here as soon as i get home to a diffrent pc. Unless somebody here has a diff way to get them on the site.
