meaning of GE

silly question from a newbie, but what does GE stand for.

It just a chassis designation that Honda gives to all of there cars..... usually in alphanumeric order GD( 1st gen FIT ) GE ( 2nd gen FIT ) GF ( 3rd gen fit if it was made more than likely )
